Nature Island Dive is located in the small fishing village of Soufriere, which is in the very heart of the Soufriere-Scotts Head Marine Reserve. Our location is one of the key elements in making it possible for us to offer a diverse menu of adventure activities.

Directly in front of the dive shop is the Soufriere Bay in which lies Dominica's best diving and snorkeling. In less than 10 minutes our dive boats can be moored on over 20 excellent dive sites. The bay also offers a calm and beautiful setting for various kayaking excursions. Behind the dive center, the Soufriere Valley has excellent mountain biking trails and outstanding hiking.

Dominica has so much to offer for the adventure enthusiast and the Soufriere Valley is the perfect base for all of these activities. While other destinations boast of similar attractions, nowhere else makes everything as accessible as the Soufriere Valley. Even divers who are busy diving until 1:00 pm can still spend the afternoon adventuring.

While many dive centers advertise that they offer personalized service, at Nature Island Dive it is at the very heart of our philosophy. Whether you are diving, kayaking, or mountain biking we fully realize that you are on holiday and here to enjoy yourself. Whatever adventure you choose to participate in we will carry, set-up, clean and store all the equipment. There is so much to do in Dominica that the last thing you want to spend time doing is rinsing equipment! Even if you are only renting snorkeling gear for the day we will give you directions, store any valuables, and direct you to our showers at the end of the day. So if you are in the Soufriere area stop by and see us, even if you only have questions about the area. Our friendly and professional staff will always be willing to help in any way.

About Our Logo Many of our are guests are intrigued by our logo. After reaching Dominica, they quickly learn that one of the island's famous creatures is the "crapaud" (pronounced KRA-PO). This large, land-loving frog is also known as the "Mountain Chicken." Nature Island Dive's crapaud is showcasing several of our activities: mountain biking, kayaking and diving.
